Real streets. A playable city.
The Santa Monica district uses geographic street centerlines, building footprints, pier outlines and coastline from © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0.
Download the adapted map database. Snapshot: November 3, 2026. Coordinates retain geographic scale. The playable street component excludes pedestrian-only streets, the pier and lower beach access roads.
Building locations and footprints follow the data. Reported heights are used when available; missing heights, facades, terrain elevation, traffic and attraction models are simplified. The SM1 service is fictional. This is not a navigation tool or a live construction map. The classic pier arch is shown as a landmark interpretation rather than its current maintenance state.
Street and district relationships were cross-checked against the City of Santa Monica map and Santa Monica Pier directions.
The other Los Angeles departure areas currently use the earlier compressed fictional city graph.
