This page describes the FareRun implementation at farerun.fun. It does not describe the original game's services.
On your device
Practice progress, preferences, vehicle choices and recovery snapshots are saved in browser storage. Clearing site data can remove them. Installation uses a service worker to cache game files.
Accounts and cloud saves
The server stores your account name, salted password verification data, recovery-code verification data and session records. A session cookie identifies your browser. Manual cloud backups store game progress and a bounded history; online coins and purchases are maintained separately.
Online play
Driver names, scores, race results, friends, Motor Parks, online wallet records and selected garage items are stored on the server. Live play sends position, ride state, horn and preset-message events to nearby players. Block preferences and submitted reports are stored. Active rooms and connections end when the server restarts.
Test checkout
Waffo Pancake provides test checkout. The server stores order and transaction references, product, amount, currency and delivery/refund state. Card details are entered with the payment provider, not stored by this game. Real-money checkout is not enabled.
External content and analytics
Radio streams connect to their respective providers. Some uncached original game assets may be fetched by the server from the original public asset host. Providers receive network information needed to serve requests. Original Google Analytics and Cloudflare beacon configurations have been removed; FareRun currently has no configured third-party analytics tracker.
Manage your data
You can sign out, manage cloud backups and clear local browser storage. Clearing browser data does not delete server records. Self-service account deletion is not implemented. See Help & contact for the current support-channel status.
Do not use your real full name or share passwords, recovery codes or personal details in public driver names.
